* Newport-Santa Ana Legal Secretaries Association was chartered in April 1986. In February 2002, the members of Newport-Santa Ana LSA voted to change its name to NALS of Orange County. The purpose of the name change was to expand our membership to people who work in the legal profession in positions other than legal secretaries. The newly-named chapter was chartered by NALS on March 13, 2002.
